Delhi is the capital city of the country. The history of Delhi names some great kings as its rulers and it is noteworthy that these kings erected grand structures here to signify the glory of their dynasty. Mughal empire and British Empire, both are seen as the ones who have done some brilliant constructions in their times. On one hand, the grandeur of Red Fort is admired by all and on the other, the mightiness of Rashtrapati Bhawan (originally built as the Viceroy’s lodge by the British) leaves the spectator spell bound! Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar (built by the Turk ruler Qutab-Ud-Din-Aibak), India Gate... are some famous tourist attractions here. It is worth highlighting that the Lotus Temple which is the Baha’i house of worship is a place which is highly recommended to be included in your travel schedule if you want to view an excellent sight of beauty personified in a building as never before.


Home to the eternal symbol of love, the iconic "Taj Mahal", one of the 7 modern wonders of the world, Agra is a must see destination. Agra is the only city in the world glittering with 3 world heritage sites, after the Taj Mahal, you can also visit the Agra Fort and splendid Fatehpur Sikri. This wonderful tourist spot is regarded as the first planned city in Indo-Islamic style. A sunrise on the Taj Mahal is unforgatable.


The city is the proud owner of the Golden Temple that serves as a spriritual center for the World's entire Sikh population. It is the epicenter of Sikhism, an Indian religion of a recent vintage. The fabric of the city seems to be woven around the temple. In fact, Amritsar even derivess its name from "Amrit Sarovar" (meaning holy pool of nectar) the pool around the Golden temple. A sunset in the Temple is a must.
